A Message from the owner

My name is Doug Marshall, and I’m proud to be the owner of American Brush Clearing. This company was built on the same values that have guided me throughout my life: faith, family, hard work, honesty, discipline, and service.

I’m a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, having served 13½ years on active duty. After my military service, I continued my career with the U.S. Department of Defense, doing a total of 23 years as an air Traffic controller.

Those experiences taught me something I carry with me every day: show up, work hard, do the job right, and take responsibility for the work you put your name on.

I love my family, I believe in God, and I believe a man’s word should mean something. When I started American Brush Clearing, I wanted to build more than just another land-clearing company. I wanted to build a company that people could trust.

Whether we’re clearing a small residential lot, preparing property for construction, opening up acreage, or taking on a larger commercial project, my commitment is the same: treat every customer with respect, communicate honestly, work safely, and take pride in the finished product.

At American Brush Clearing, we quote the job, not the clock. You’ll receive straightforward, job-based pricing before we begin, so you know what you’re paying for without worrying about hourly or daily surprises.

We’re proud to be Veteran-Owned & Operated, and we’re proud to serve Eastern North Carolina.

Thank you for considering American Brush Clearing. When you choose us, you’re not just hiring a company—you’re trusting me with your property and my name.

God bless,

Doug Marshall
